Ingrid A. Rimland, also known as Ingrid Zündel, was born in 1936 in Halbstadt (Molotschna), Ukraine. She died in 2017 in Tennessee. She was born in a Russian-German Mennonite community in Ukraine. Her family had been wealthy prior to the Russian revolution, but the community faced persecution under the communist regime due to their pacifist beliefs and heritage.
